I. Medical Coding
◾Designation: Medical Coding Associate
◾Department: Medical Coding (IP DRG, Surgery, ED, E&M, Multi-Specialty)
◾Job Purpose: Responsible for analyzing medical charts, and assigning codes specific to each diagnosis and procedure every time a doctor, nurse, or other health provider performs services.
◾Qualification: Para Medicals / Life Science Graduates (Pharmacy / BSc / MSc / Nursing / BHMS / BAMS / BDS)
◾Experience: 0-5 Years of experience in the Medical Coding Department with excellent knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology.
◾Job Location: Chennai.
◾Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.
◾Skills: 1. Typing and English Communication, 2. Administrative writing, 3. Record-keeping and Organizational skills, 4. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.

◾Role and Responsibilities: 1. Collecting information made by a physician, reviewing patients’ charts and documents for verification, and making sure that codes are assigned correctly as per government guidelines, 2. ◾Job Purpose: Responsible for contacting insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to follow up on outstanding medical claims.
◾Qualification: Any Graduate
◾Experience: 0-4 (Freshers) Years of experience; prior calling experience would be an added advantage.
◾Job Location: Chennai.
◾Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.
◾Skills: 1. Fluent verbal communication abilities, 2. Effective interaction with insurance companies and patients, 3. Multi-tasking ability and following instructions precisely, 4. Willing to work in night shift.
